The owner of the Headbangers Hair Salon in Toronto, Allison Ruzicka, has announced that she is working with the non-profit Save Toronto Music Venues to help raise money for struggling iconic music venues in the city, such as Opera House, Bovine Sex Club, Sneaky Dees, and many more. Ruzicka will be donating a full day of cuts on Feb. 25, 2022, to raise money for the cause.

On Friday, February 25th from 12-8 p.m., Save Toronto Music Venues (STMV) is hosting an event at Headbangers Hair Salon to raise funds for music venues that have been struggling throughout the pandemic.

STMV is a local non-profit that has been helping support live music venues through the pandemic restrictions. To date, STMV has distributed thousands of dollars to venues in the Toronto area and now, with the help of Headbangers Hair Salon, they are aiming to raise an additional $2,000 in support of these businesses.

Headbangers Hair Salon is located at 1572 Dundas St. West in Toronto and is the home of hair stylist Allison Ruzicka. Having trained in Hollywood and Long Beach California, Allison is on the forefront of styles, cuts, and colours all the way from beachy disheveled to edgy Rock N Roll.

Cuts are $100, with the full proceeds going back to music venues in Toronto.

Appointments are required and can be made by emailing headbangershairsalonto@gmail.com with the code STMVCUTS.
