Submissions Now Open for CBC Music's 2022 Searchlight Contest

CBC Music's Toyota Searchlight contest has returned, with submissions opening for Canadian artists today at CBCMusic.ca/Searchlight.

The long-standing hunt for Canada's next undiscovered talent will again feature a large number of prizes aimed at kickstarting the finalists' music careers, including; a spot in the Allan Slaight JUNO Master Class, a recording residency at the National Music Centre in Calgary, a Play MPE distribution deal, a performance slot at the next CBC Music Festival, and more.

Artists can submit their song and application until May 5, the top 10 will be revealed on June 21 and the grand prize winner and runners up will be announced on June 28.
