Founding Bachman-Turner Overdrive drummer Robbie Bachman has passed away. The news was shared by Bachman's brother, Bachman-Turner Overdrive guitarist and vocalist Randy Bachman on Twitter.

The world-renowned drummer was born in Winnipeg and played alongside his brothers Randy and TIm, as well as bassist and vocalist Fred Turner in Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Formed in 1973, the band was one of Canada's most successful acts of the '70s, with hits including "Takin' Care of Business" and "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet."
