Registration Open for OMEA & CMIEC's 'Con Fuoco 2021' Virtual Conference
The Ontario Music Educators Association (OMEA), which educates and assists the province’s classroom music teachers, as well as the CMIEC (the Coalition for Music Education in Canada) will hold their 2021 conference as a virtual event from Nov. 5-7, 2021. This year’s event is called Con Fuoco.
Friday, Nov. 5th will include Trivia Night Wine & Cheese with Tia McGraff, while Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 6 & 7, will feature workshops and keynotes. Access to the video content will remain available for one month. It’ll also feature performances from culturally diverse ensembles from across Ontario. Among the features speakers and performers are Melanie Demore, St. Michael’s Choir School, Stephen Bulla, and the Weston Silver Band.
OMEA members wishing to register for a conference must hold a valid membership that is current through to the date of Nov. 7, 2021 in order to register.
