Music PEI is proud to host the 2023 Canadian Song Conference (CSC) in beautiful Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This year the CSC will focus on creating opportunities for artists and industry professionals in relation to developing multiple revenue streams from songs. This includes licensing for film, TV, video games, commercials and special projects, publishing, royalties, and more.

From May 31st until June 2nd, Music PEI has invited more than 20 music industry professionals from across Canada, the US and the UK to come to Charlottetown and attend the 9th edition of the Canadian Song Conference. The goal of this conference is to assist PEI artists and music industry to develop sustainable careers by creating as many revenue streams as possible. 

Live performance is the way most artists earn money from the music business, but there are many other sources including royalties, licensing, publishing, label deals, streaming services and more. The conference shines a light on how that part of the industry works. It also provides opportunities for the artists to meet with Music Supervisors, the ones responsible for selecting music for film, TV, commercials, video games and more.
