POP Montreal 2023 Announces First Wave of Performers
The performers include Candi Staton, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Junglepussy, and Dr. Cornel West.
POP Montreal 2023 is taking place Sept 27 to Oct 1, and its first wave of performers has been announced.
“We're coming to you a little early this year with good news, good music and great vibes. 2023 is going to be excellent, POP Montreal is back in style with a BIG TIME sneak peek at a stunning line-up filled with excellent music and next-level artists,” says Daniel Seligman , Creative Director - POP Montreal. “We are thrilled to host amongst others the legendary diva Candi Staton for a special show on her farewell tour, along with the iconoclastic folk troubadour Bonnie "Prince" Billy, the rainbow rap goddess Junglepussy and the transcendent public intellectual Dr. Cornel West. In the coming months, the festival will also announce the programming of its Puces POP, Film POP, Art POP, POP Symposium, and Kids POP segments.
