Indie Week's 'Music Pro Summit,' An Online Music & Tech Conference, Happening Sept. 8-11
The Music Pro Summit, an online music conference by the team behind Indie Week, is kicking off from Sept. 8-11.
Organizers state that the Music Pro Summit "is where the art and business sides of the industry intersect," with plans to showcase the next wave of music technology in the process. From NFTs and blockchain to beatmakers and sampling tools, tech innovations have made music monetization and production more exciting than ever. This conference will focus on education and business development with speakers from Downtown Music, CD Baby, Chartmetric, Musiio, Found.ee, as well as strategists sharing how to grow audiences on Tik Tok, Spotify (playlisting), Twitch (monetizing live streaming), and more.
There will also be guest speakers from the U.K. and Europe, India, Africa, Asia/Asia Pacific, and South America.
“We have to look at the new opportunities that are being presented, and I believe that this is an amazing time for businesses and artists to grow at an explosive rate with an engaged global online audience. Live streaming, gaming,VR, and AI, are going to play an integral role,” says Darryl Hurs, founder of Indie Week and the Music Pro Summit.
